Palo Alto is a gripping novel that forces the reader to contend with the bloody history of violence and exploitation that led to the current technocratic boom town of Silicon Valley. An incredible patchwork of stories woven together to paint a damning picture of a place built on unrelenting greed, racism, and disregard for the working class. Quite long, but I would recommend it to anybody, especially people working in tech.
